This luxurious rug features all-wool construction and is durably hand-tufted for years of use even in high-traffic areas. Hand-tufting is done by talented artisans who use a tool called a tufting gun to individually punch strands of fiber through the rug's canvas. The canvas is painted with the rug's design and the artisan fills in the design using the appropriate colors. When the process is complete backings are attached to the rug to hold the fibers in place and protect your flooring.
