Brilliantly colored and luxuriously soft this rug is extra-durable too - it's made from versatile acrylic fibers that resist wear and fading even in heavy traffic areas. This rug is hand-tufted by Chinese artisans; the process of hand-tufting means that the artisan uses a tufting gun to punch the fibers through the rug's canvas one by one filling out the colored design and creating a rich intricate final product. When tufting is completed the rug is removed from the frame and a backing is glued in place.
