In hand-tufting the craftsmen use tufting guns to insert each yarn tuft individually following the overall color pattern of the rug. The tufts are then trimmed and sheared to the proper length and the rug is given a durable backing to prevent unraveling.

The New Boxes rugs are made from a silky-soft blend of 50 percent New Zealand wool and 50 percent Artsilk which is an artificial yarn that has the texture of real silk but is made from rayon polyester or cotton for affordability and durability. These rugs are made in India and come complete with a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty. Spot-clean for best results.
