These high-quality rugs are made from a blend of New Zealand wool and Artsilk which is an artificial silk with all the texture and softness of the original. Artsilk however is made from cotton polyester or rayon to increase its durability and make it more affordable. These rugs are meticulously hand-tufted by craftsmen in India. The hand-tufting process involves the use of a tufting gun with which the artisans insert each individual tuft of yarn in correspondence with the rug's color pattern. The tufts are then trimmed and sheared to the proper length and the rug is given a durable backing to prevent unraveling.

The Silk Vines rugs are decorated with vine-and-floral patterns in a contemporary style. These rugs are made in India and come complete with a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty. Spot-clean for best results.
