Captain Eddie Rickenbacker the top American ace was the most famous American warrior to battle in the Great War. He scored 21 of his 26 victories in the Spad. Powered by a 220 hp Hispano-Suiza the plane could cruise for two hours and attain speeds of nearly 130 mph. The Spad was fast sturdy aircraft that could easily outrun enemy fighters during World War I. The accuracy and level of detail bring home a perfect replica of the Spad XIII Rickenbacker. This beautifully detailed piece is crafted from solid mahogany in a natural wood finish. Sure to be a true showcase piece for years to come.
