It will greatly reduce light pollution making it ideal for photography of faint emission nebulae. Exposures may be increased up to 10 times without diminishing the black background in your photograph thus achieving strikingly improved results in black & white film and CCD astrophotography. Both filter surfaces have high light transmittance coatings for maximum performance.
