Oberwerk's popular 12-36x70mm binoculars have gigantic objective lenses to gather almost twice as much light as common 50mm models (surface area = pi*r2). That makes these giants ideal for low-light viewing. Smoothly zoom from 12X to 36X magnification at the flick of a lever. These are excellent for sporting events nautical applications and surveillance (a city police force in Ohio purchased one of these for evaluation and ended up putting one in each of its cruisers).

Optics incorporate the same highest-quality broadband multi-coatings and BAK-4 prisms as Oberwerk's 15x70mm models. And like all Oberwerk binoculars this instrument has a rugged rubber-armored metal body all-glass lenses right-ocular diopter adjustment and brass 1/4x20 tripod adapter threading. A case and strap are included.
