Charles Chuck Older flew his P-40 with the 3rd Pursuit Squadron known as the Hell's Angels. He became one of the first two flying AVG aces on Christmas day in 1941. Known stateside as the Flying Tigers the P-40 fighters were a fierce outfit in the skies and by the time the group disbanded Older was credited with five more victories. After joining the USAAF he flew P-51s with great success.
