Using two or four firm rubber massage heads the massage lounger accurately simulates stroking with the palm of the hand pressing with the heel of the hand kneading with thumbs and pressure with thumbs. It also covers a total of 135 square inches - including the neck shoulders and back. Try both kneading modes for a gentle in-and-out motion using four massage heads. This function is especially effective on your neck and shoulders. Muscles are gently stretched as the massage heads move up and down along the back during the rolling massage. When regional is selected the heads will move in a 4-inch range for a localized massage. When full is selected the heads will move in a 27-inch range. The tapping mode creates an invigorating sensation of hands rapidly tapping on your back muscles. The Shiatsu massage creates strong deep-tissue pressure and stretching using two massage heads. Choose between the compression and Hawaiian modes for a firm or gentle rubbing motion across the back.
