The top unit nicely houses your flat-panel TV and features a top shelf for storing additional equipment. This is front-loading center and the top portion measures 54.75W x 19.75D x 36.25H (without shelf) inches. The TV opening narrows to 42.75W inches in rear which is why it is necessary to load from the front.
