PB4Y-2 Privateer Model Airplane, part number PCA099, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $159.95.
Similar to a B-24 from the 1940s a Privateer is just different enough. The twin tails were replaced with a high single fin and the fuselage extended seven feet. Changes in armament included Martin dorsal turrets Erco nose turrets and waist blisters. The Privateer survived long after World War II seeing service in the Korean War. A few examples still remain in use today as fire-fighting bombers. Our master craftsmen have created this model from solid mahogany and have hand painted all the fine details.
