Perfect for parties and picnics this set makes it possible to transport and serve baked ziti or apple crisp. First cook your dish in the 7 x 11-inch glass baker. Then when it's hot from the oven cover it with the snap-on plastic lid. The covered baker then goes into the blue insulated carry bag along with utensils and napkins. Heat the included hot pack in a microwave oven and slip it into a pocket in the bag's top to keep the food hot until serving time. You can also substitute a frozen cold pack for the hot pack so you can transport fruit salad or any chilled food. The baker is made of Pyrex glass a special glass that can go directly from freezer or refrigerator to a microwave convection or preheated conventional oven. It's non-reactive (useful for acidic marinades) as well as stain- and odor-proof. It comes with a two-year warranty against breakage from oven heat.
