They are safely designed to burn indoors and are vent-free. Natural Flame fuel is easy to light and extinguish. Simply remove place your permanent log in a fireplace insert a cartridge into the log center cavity and remove the cartridge lid with a flat head screwdriver. Light the exposed fuel with an extended match or lighter. Natural Flame fuel lights gently like a candle. The flame builds slowly. Full flame height is reached in about 10 to 15 minutes.
