The Resting Stag Bookends are the perfect accent for cottage-style living. These eye-catching bookends are made from durable polyresin and are hand-painted. Commonly the antlered male deer is called a buck and the female a doe. Terms very according to dialect: larger deer may be referred to as bulls and cows; while in medium breeds the male is the stag and the female the hind. In all but one species the male sheds and grows new horns each year. The Resting Stag Bookends are a hunter's delight and are the perfect addition to casual decor. The neutral tones of these bookends will work well with leather furniture and rooms with plenty of wood trim and wood furnishings.
