The grand 37-ounce Riedel Sommelier Burgundy Grand Cru is the ideal wine glass for Burgundy Grand Cru Beaujolais Grand Cru and Pinot Noir. This magnificent glass is generously sized to allow the bouquet to fully develop and the shape and gently flared rim direct the flow of wine onto the region of the tongue that perceives sweetness which accentuates the fruity flavor of the wine. This mouth-blown handcrafted glass is made of 24 percent lead crystal and features a gorgeous long slender stem. The glass stands 9.75 inches tall. Hand-washing is recommended.

In 1973 in Orvieto Claus Riedel presented the world's first gourmet glass series developed with the help of the Associazione Italiana Sommeliers (A.

I.

S.). The series consisted of 10 sizes. Since then the world of wine has changed radically.
