Constructed of ash hardwood solids and oak veneers this gorgeous desk and deck have a lush lightly distressed cordovan cherry finish that will add a stunning element to your home.The beautiful desk is ideal for laptop computers and has plenty of storage for your office necessities. Interchangeable drawers accommodate both left- and right-handed users and both are mounted on ball-bearing extension guides. One drawer is felt-lined with a pencil tray; the other features a drop front that reveals a keyboard tray and power control bar. A wire access hole in the back panel allows for easy cord management. Assembly required.The deck features two outside drawers constructed with dovetail joinery and mounted on ball-bearing extension guides. A center hinged top panel lifts to reveal a felt-lined triple-partitioned cubby box for storing and charging electronics. A power supply outlet has three cords that run to the cubby box partitions. A wire access hole in the back panel of the deck allows easy wire management. Deck is fully assembled; desk requires assembly. These wood types are durable and feature beautiful open grains that make them much preferred among furniture manufacturers. Each piece of wood is first graded for quality at the Riverside lumber plant then kiln-dried to remove excess moisture and prevent splitting. The wood is then sent to one of Riverside's three manufacturing plants all located in Fort Smith Ark. At that point it is constructed into a high-quality furniture piece using a combination of hardwood solids and hand-selected veneers. Techniques used on Riverside pieces include dovetail joinery heavy-duty drawer roller guides and multi-step finish applications that include hand-sanding and polishing for a deep lustrous result.
