The combination of wood iron and wicker makes the Saigon Daybed one of the most elegant and robust daybeds on the market. The Saigon Daybed is crafted with a sturdy Meranti autumn hardwood frame that is accented with a beautiful curvilinear iron scroll design. The bowed structure of the frame gives this daybed a sleigh-like appearance which adds dimension style and elegance to any room.

This beautiful curved daybed is designed with no sharp corners and is highly recommended to use in a child's room yet it is still elegant enough to use in a more formal setting.

For a great space saving option to accommodate overnight guests the Saigon Daybed includes an optional lift up trundle. The trundle allows an extra twin size mattress to stand up next to the daybed turning this standard twin size daybed into a king size bed. For easy storage this trundle bed stows underneath the daybed when not in use. Please note that two mattresses will need to be purchased for the Saigon Daybed one for the daybed and one for the trundle.

A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. The mattress measures 75L x 39W x 8H inches and carries a 10-year warranty.

Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy and with the Create-A-King mattress connector it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the tranformation but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
