It's constructed of fire-resistant materials and features a patented Insulate fire protection insulation. On the top half of the unit are two shelves featuring fully retractable doors that swing up and out of your way. The two drawers on the bottom are independently secured and all four storage units feature recessed handles. Tested up to a 30-foot fall and at fires up to 1700 degrees this file cabinet is ideal for use in areas like the healthcare industry where records must remain protected and in storage for many years. L.) test the product by heating it up to 1700 degrees (most fires reach 800 degrees) over the course of an hour then cooling it over several days. The interior temperature must remain at or below 125 degrees. This product meets or exceeds all tests for heat impact and water resistance. In the event the filing cabinet falls through a floor or is knocked by support beams the drawers will not jar open.
