An excellent wood for outdoor furniture red cedar is naturally aromatic and insect-repellant. The vertical back slats are spaced closely together to make this a very comfortable piece of garden furniture.

The top back slat of this bench is approximately 2.75 inches and is ideal for a 2.00 - 2.25 inch plaque to personalize the bench.
