The Shaker Street Chest combines the antique style of yesterday with the warmth of today's finishes to create a relaxed traditional look. Constructed with precision-fit mortise-and-tenon joints the chest features routed bases with mitered returns and multi-drawer breakup with deep drawer storage. Five-ply top combines the finest cherry veneers and exposes a wonderful solid wood edge allowing the beautiful cherry veneer to extend all the way out to this solid edge.
An embossed berry-and-vine motif divides the lower drawers from the upper drawers. Authentic turned wood knobs with black finish complete the blend of timelessness and modernity. Like all pieces in Vaughan's Shaker Street Bedroom Collection this chest is delicately hand-highlighted to bring clarity and depth to the finish.
