The Shaw New West Collection is a modern rendering of the designs that have become associated with the West and represents the iconography of native peoples throughout the Americas. Taking inspiration from Indian baskets Navajo textiles Mexican serapes and Peruvian weavings of the Museum of New Mexico these patterns are reinterpreted from ancient design motifs. For a dynamic and diverse collection the rugs are made of long-lasting polypropylene using an automated weaving loom which creates intricate and detailed patterns.
