The dark chessmen are made from gorgeous sheesham wood a tight-grained hardwood with hints of dark and light highlights. Sheesham carves well and makes an excellent choice of material for dark chess pieces. The light chessmen are made from boxwood a fine-grained hardwood with an ivory appearance and a natural luster. The king stands five inches tall with a base diameter of 1.8 inches. Board dimensions: 20.5L x 20.5W x 5H inches.
