Smart functional and versatile the Simplicity Portland Crib & Changer Combo can almost complete your nursery and will be there for your child through high-school. Constructed of solid wood and featuring a warm pecan finish this crib transforms as your baby grows to be with him every step of the way. Transform the crib to a toddler bed easily by removing the front panel and replacing it with the included safety rails. The next step will be removing the safety rails for use as a daybed and finally the back crib panel can be used as a headboard for a full-size bed. The convenient trundle drawer will work with all four configurations and comes in handy as linen storage. A four-position mattress support lets you lower the mattress height as baby begins to sit stand and jump.
The attached combo will make night-time diaper changes a breeze and it feature one drawer and one double-door cabinet for storing diapers and more. Three open shelves on the back are perfect for creams lotions and medicines. A changing pad is included and this changer has safety rails on all sides. When you've converted the crib to a full-size bed this changing combo functions wonderfully as a nightstand.
It's time to discontinue use of the crib once your toddler reaches a height of 35 inches or becomes agile enough to climb over the railings. At this point it is recommended to transform the crib into a toddler bed the perfect next step. Safety bedrails are included and the toddler bed can use the same mattress your child used with the crib. As your little one continues to grow you can raise the mattress a little and remove the safety rails so they can enjoy this piece as a daybed. Finally attach the back panel of the crib to a standard bed frame to create a full-size bed your child will enjoy all through their teen years.
To keep your Portland items clean use household soap with warm water and towel-dry. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners.
