To create a realistic fire effect this fireplace is designed to hold up to three gel fuel cans (not included) camouflaged by the included log set that flames and crackles like real wood. The clean-burning gel fuel cans emit no smoke no odor no sparks and no ash so you won't have any of the mess of a wood-burning fireplace.The Slate Gel Fuel Fireplace mantel supports up to 85 lbs.* and each can of FireGlo gel fuel produces up to 3000 BTUs of heat and burns for two to three hours. The fireplace includes the mantel metal firebox log set faux coal cinder and screen kit. Assembly required. FireGlo gel fuel is sold separately.
