The Steinbach Christmas Pickle Nutcracker is the second in Steinbach's Christmas Traditions series and features a German glass-blown ornament. It was the tradition in Germany for the adults to decorate the tree and children to first see it on Christmas morning. The pickle ornament was carefully hidden in the tree and the first child to find the pickle was given a special prize. Many American families have accepted this tradition as their own and the glass pickle ornament is one of the most popular tree decorations today.

This hand-painted Christmas Pickle Nutcracker is available unsigned or signed by Karla Steinbach. He wears a lush plush fur-trimmed robe and long hat and he carries a Christmas tree. This beautifully crafted nutcracker is hand-crafted from the finest materials and stands 18 inches tall. It is a delightful addition to any collection sure to become a family heirloom.
