Nighthawk 80/9D Classic Refractor. The high-contrast top-rated telescope includes our highly rated 80mm f-9.4 hand-figured lens. This fully multi-coated (lower dispersion achromat) objective offers improved color correction over the Nighthawk 2. This is the better lunar and planetary telescope. The 80/9D comes with a precision two-inch single-speed Crayford focuser 1.25-inch adapter deluxe R80 hinged aluminum mounting rings Stellarvue #F1001 red dot finder. Requires mount tripod diagonal and eyepieces. This latest version is two pounds lighter and comes in a beautiful stardust white-finished tube with black anodized dewshield. This is the most beautiful 80/9D we have ever made. Pictures do not do it justice. But rest assured the performance and optics are the same and 100% as good as they have ever been!
