The scalloped headboard and the low footboard have slatted beadboard accents; the posts stand on turned feet and are crowned by round ball finials. The bed includes wood rails and wood slat roll mattress supports that eliminate the need for box springs or bunkie boards. The Hi-Lo adjustable locking system allows the bed to work safely with or without a box spring. The Hi-lock position raises the bed to accommodate under bed storage or sleep options.
