Used by the Air Force and Navy as a basic trainer the T-28 was originally designed to replace the T-6 trainer. Like the T-6 many Trojans were converted to ground attack variants and saw action in Vietnam. With its capability to carry guns and bombs externally the T-28 was a great fighter plane.
