The company revolutionized the sporting goods industry in 1952 with technology capable of producing seamless balls and again in the years that followed with its patented Loose Bladder Construction method which allows a layer of air to circulate between the inside bladder and outside cover. The resulting precision-balanced ball first introduced in competition at the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo affords truer flight and a superior soft touch.

In 2003 Tachikara proudly introduced another pair of innovations. The Dual Bladder Construction offers greater durability and improved control and flight and Sensi-Tec materials improve upon their predecessors. Named for the god of power in Japanese mythology Tachikara is committed to cutting-edge design manufacture and materials. Tachikara offers avid players innovative and premium-quality products at excellent value.
