Catalog description

Teeter Decompression and Extension Machine, part number TER018, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $895.00.

The DEX Decompression and Extension Machine provides all of the benefits of inversion and extension exercise. Traction handles allow allow you to comfortably settle into a 90/90 position which is the optimum position for decompression of the lower back. From this position the user's body position works with gravity to maximize muscle performance during back extensions while simultaneously helping to prevent hyperextension.

Improving upon the traditional roman chair the Teeter Decompression and Extension Machine's unique design reduces the load on the hamstrings by placing the knees in a relaxed 90° position. This is superior to less effective straight-leg exercises which place unnecessary strain on knees and hamstrings. This machine adjusts easily to accommodate varying user heights and weights with a maximum height of 6'6 and a weight capacity of 300 lbs.
