TeleVue Panoramic Tripod Mount, part number TVU079, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $538.00, down from a high of $730.00.
While the Tele-Pod represents the most travel friendly mount for our smaller scopes for more rigidity under heavier loads we took the Tele-Pod head and adapted it to our fine Panoramic wooden tripod. Since the Sky Tour encoder attachment points are within the head itself for the first time the Panoramic mount is Sky Tour capable. The Panoramic Mount is available in solid ash or beautiful walnut wood with brass fittings. It places the scope from approximately 3 to 5 feet high. Metal ground spikes with rubber tips are provided. A central tray adds rigidity and a convenient platform for accessories.
