Crafted from methods introduced by famed stained glass artist Louis Comfort Tiffany the shade is constructed from more than 200 individually cut quality stained glass pieces each of which has been edged in copper foil and carefully hand-soldered.

The lamp's base is sturdily crafted from wood with a bronze finish and features a separate lighting stained glass shade. The lamp requires one 60-watt bulb and one 15-watt bulb (not included) and features an inline switch.
