The Woodland Cedar Chest is a finely crafted chest with a Cherry finish. Outside veneer is made of Birch wood. The chest has a slighty distressed look to the finish to give it the charming character of an antique. The bottom has two functional locking storage drawers with removable trays. Both the drawers and the trays are lined in an acid-free black rayon fabric. The interior of the chest is fully lined with Eastern Red Cedar veneer and has an airtight aluminum sealing strip to preserve personal treasures. A self-rising divided storage tray with acid-free black lining comes up when the top is opened. The chest features 2 interior stay hinges to prevent slamming and 3 decorative hinges. The chest is constructed using interlocking corner joints - no nails to damage clothing. Full finish back panel. Ships fully assembled.
