Catalog description

Woodstock Emperor Gong Wind Chime, part number WS145, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $129.99, up from a low of $59.99.

The Woodstock Emperor Gong Wind Chime features a polished bronze gong with a striking cherry-finished wood hanger. Inspired by traditional Asian design this piece is intended to reflect balance harmony grace and beauty. In Buddhism the gong is sounded at the start and end of each day. In Chinese temples it's struck 108 times because it's believed that sentient beings have 108 types of worries. The teaching is that upon hearing the gong worries will cease wisdom will grow.

This gong is available in two sizes: 23L x 6 diam. inches and 50L x 13.75 diam. inches. It's meticulously hand-tuned and ideal for use in any setting.

Woodstock Chimes are the original precision-tuned wind chimes and are created by professional musician Garry Kvistad. Hand-crafted from original innovative designs these chimes are tuned to the purest musical intervals and to scales from many different world cultures. Woodstock offers only the finest in collectible wind chimes.

Wind Chime Length: The length of a wind chime is measured by the overall length of the chime (not tube length) hanging hook to the end of the sail. This wind chime is 23 or 50 inches long overall.
