The delicate tropical-sounding tones of the Woodstock Large Capiz Spring Winds Chime will create a dreamlike atmosphere in your patio yard or garden. Made from the shells of pearl oysters the 24 colorful Capiz shells form a double-helix pattern as they hang from the orange synthetic flower top.

Named after Capiz a province of Panay Island in the Philippines these shellfish are gathered in the wild. Every bit of the oyster is used and the shells are carefully sorted and dried. In the 1500s these shells were used as windowpanes in houses; now they are used in all sorts of home decorations including lamp shades vases chandeliers and (of course) wind chimes.
