Made from extra thick-walled specially suspended aluminum tubes the Wind Chimes of Apollo resonate much longer than any other chimes. The suspension piece is made of metal to prevent muffling or deadened sound. Thick walls of the tubes vibrate and hold notes longer. This chime is tuned to the modes of an ancient Chinese pentatonic scale. Consists of 6 brushed aluminum tubes. Gorgeous wood clapper and the paddle catches breezes easier too. Tuned to G B flat C D F G. Wind Chime Length: The length of a wind chime is measured by the overall length of the chime (not tube length)- hanging hook to the end of the sail. This windchime is 68 inches overall.
