A security lock bar is part of the frame at the base of the seat columns. This enables you to use standard bicycle locks to secure the scooter to a bike rack lamp post etc. when unattended. The lock bar also doubles as a lifting handle. When folded you can even pick up the rear of the scooter by the security bar and roll it along on its front wheel.
