The seat is supported by 8-gauge steel springs with 16-gauge wires connecting each spring preventing sag and keeping the chair firm and responsive to movement. The frame of this chair is made from kiln-dried lumber. Each piece is individually crafted and then bolted together to create the utmost in strong and supportive furniture.
