The Artline Blue Green Globe Clock will make a striking desktop timepiece for your home or office. Bold and eye-catching it features a miniature version of Artline's popular Blue Green Earthsphere acrylic globe design with translucent blue oceans and vibrant green landmasses. There is no better way to understand the world's geography than to study a highly accurate model like this one. It depicts current accurate geographic information on national boundaries bodies of water and latitude and longitude markings. The globe measures 5 inches in diameter and is mounted on a handsome wooden base with light cherry finish and distinctive tower design. It stands 10.25 inches tall.
An embedded working clock and silver-toned metal fittings complete this elegant contemporary look. When the tower is removed from the base it reveals a cleverly hidden compass. This unique piece part of the Artline Accessories Series will make a welcome addition to any desk or table.
The globe reflects Artline's standard of excellence undergoing a variety of processes from multi-colored silk-screening to meticulous blowing and shaping. Sheets of acrylic are cut to size and checked for optical clarity before graphics are applied. Each piece is carefully inspected and then passed on to the thermal process when it is heat soaked for several hours. The hemispheres are free-blown to ensure optical clarity and then trimmed of excess material and carefully matched. Before being bonded they are cleaned and polished. This globe comes to you signed by the maker complete with a certificate of authenticity.
