B-17G Flying Fortress Model Airplane, part number PCA009, is a discontinued product from the 2007–2011 catalog. It was last listed at $159.95, up from a low of $149.95.
Immortalized in cinema and song this historic bomber featured the nose art of Betty Grable in her famous pin-up pose. After flying many missions and dropping payloads of bombs over Nazi Germany in World War II this aircraft remained in service in various states and was sold to a California company where it flew sorties combating forest fires. It is now restored to its original war configuration and is on display throughout the country.
