A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com optional trundle packages include a metal pop-up style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin size daybed into a king size bed.

Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy and with the Create-A-King mattress connector it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. Improved! After receiving customer feedback on the length of the mattress being too short we conferred with the manufacturer. The issue stemmed from the compression of the mattress. The manufacturer has addressed the issue and the mattresses will be a full 74 inches in length (standard twin size). Please remember that because this is a compressed mattress it requires 24 hours to fully expand to its actual size.
