The Seven Years' War took place from 1756 to 1763 and saw the British and the French battling for control of colonies in North America and India. The British vs. French Chessmen let you reenact this historical battle facing off the two European powers in a struggle for domination of your chessboard.
Constructed of poly-resin plastic these pieces are hand-painted in striking detail and include historically accurate depictions of the uniforms of the time. History buffs will appreciate the reference. Chess buffs will love the conflict. This set includes your choice of boards (the walnut and high gloss boards include built-in storage drawers for pieces). Kings stand 3.25 inches tall.
