Celestron's C8-CF Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube assembly is the same as that used on the GPS series scope. Its carbon-fiber optical tube is meticulously matched with hand-figured optical systems and high-efficiency StarBrightTM coatings. It's also FASTAR-compatible for f2 prime-focus CCD imaging.
