It is long-lasting and resistant to chipping scratching fading and wearing. The eight-ribbed frame is secured to the post with a strong high-impact PVC hub which is weather-resistant. It dependably supports the octagonal canopy. The canopy fabric is 100% solution-dyed acrylic Solefin fabric. Its fade resistance is due to the dyeing process which sets the color into the acrylic fibers allowing the umbrella to last for many years in direct sunlight. This material is also guaranteed not to mold or mildew.
