Earth Moon and Sun Orbiter
Use the Earth and Sun Orbiter to effectively demonstrate daylight night seasons and phases of the moon for a learning experience students will remember. This orbiter is available in a light-up version as well that plugs into a standard wall outlet via a 6-foot cord. With either orbiter the sun earth and moon manually revolve around one another on a gear-driven model.While the orbiter has been scaled to show relative sizes distances and motions of the earth and moon a true scale is virtually impossible to show with a model of this size. The earth and moon are in true scale at 1-inch per 2000 miles.
