Ebony wood varies in color from red to black with a rich variety of dark shades. The light chessmen are made from boxwood a fine-grained hardwood with an ivory appearance and a natural luster. The king of this beautiful set of chessmen stands 4.25 inches tall with a base diameter of 1.5 inches. Made in India.
