The natural oils act as a preservative for the wood and the aromatic scent helps to repel insects. This porch swing arrives in a beautiful natural finish and will eventually turn to a beautiful silvery gray over time if left untreated. To delay the weathering process of this swing we recommend using an oil or water-based sealer to maintain its natural beauty.
