Fresh Cedar is a mild insect repellent and therefore naturally resistant to decay and insect damage. Our cedar products are shipped in their natural color pale tan or light gold. The color changes evenly over time to a beautiful silvery gray. Water-based or oil stains will delay the weathering process. All Rustic Natural Cedar items may be used indoors or out and may be painted or stained as desired.
