Stay cool and comfortable under the FiberBuilt 9-foot Patio Umbrella. Specifically designed for residential use this umbrella is able to withstand strong winds. The flexible fiberglass ribs absorb wind gusts and last longer than traditional wood or metal ribs. A user-friendly crank-lift mechanism makes opening it a snap and you can customize your umbrella with the optional tilt feature for extra protection from the sun. The two-piece pole aluminum pole is available in a variety of powder-coat options for lasting color. It features molded nylon joints hubs and end tips for added durability. Constructing the two-piece pole is quick and easy and it fits umbrella bases that have a 1.5-inch neck diameter.

This umbrella has break-resistant fiberglass ribs that allow the shade to flex in stronger wind conditions. It has been tested in winds over 50 mph. Fiberglass ribs are 4 times stronger and up to 30% lighter than traditional wood or metal ribs.
