The charming Harrison Metal Daybed by Hillsdale features a bright white finish that gives it the versatility to match many decors. A sweeping high-profile back gently sloped arms and delicate scrollwork combine to create a highly elegant piece. Not only is the Harrison a graceful focal point it's also incredibly durable. It features fully welded construction with foundry-poured aluminum castings. Complete with heavy-gauge tubing and solid bar wire. Daybed support system is included. Underbed clearance 14-16 inches. A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com optional trundle packages include a metal pop-up style trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin size daybed into a king size bed.

Crafted with multiple layers of resilient foam filling the Deluxe Medium Support Twin Mattress will provide outstanding comfort and medium-firm support for any twin-size bed or daybed. Machine tufting and high-performance 2.0 density foam help retain the mattress shape and double layers of polyester on top and bottom provide a clean crisp look. Strong twill fabric holds the tuft of the mattress while tape edge finishing ensures a proper fit and finish of the mattress cover. The mattress measures 75L x 39W x 8H inches and carries a 10-year warranty.

Creating a king size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy and with the Create-A-King mattress connector it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the tranformation but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
